CHARLES EDWARDS JONATHAN HYDE
EMMA FIELDING IAN McNEICE JOSS ACKLAND
MICHAEL FEAST CHARLOTTE RANDLE
REVIEWS WHILE THE PLAY WAS ON TOUR -
**** 'The King glides from screen to stage without a stutter. The cast is superb. Former RSC chief Adrian Noble directs a production that is elegant, lucid and witty.' - The Daily Telegraph
**** 'Charles Edwards, as The King has been edging towards stardom - he has now unequivocally arrived. A cracking good story and Seidler deserves credit for seeing its dramatic potential.' - The Guardian
**** 'Jonathan Hyde is wholly convincing as the unconventional Logue.' - Evening Standard
**** 'A very British love story of stiff upper lip and emotional fortitude.' - Daily Mail

Tom Bateman, Mark Bonnar,
Harry Lloyd, and Finbar Lynch
Married young, and widowed young, the Duchess of Malfi falls in love with her steward Antonio. This social disgrace arouses the wrath of her brothers, and the Duchess has to fight for her love – and her life.
John Webster, a contemporary of Shakespeare’s, is regarded as the playwright who comes closest to him in dramatic invention and poetic language. This revenge tragedy, based on a true story, retains its power to shock and enthrall.
Eve Best’s last appearance at the Old Vic in A Moon for the Misbegotten launched her career as a star on Broadway and American tv. Director Jamie Lloyd has chosen an exciting cast to bring this play to its full vivid life.

Schooldays - happy or hellish? In this highly praised double bill from Chichester, David Hare's new play brings a resolution of kindness and hope to a troubled pupil, whereas a tutor's heartbreaking sadness is explored in Terrence Rattigan's powerful and much loved classic.
Set at Hare and Rattigan's childhood schools - Harrow and Lancing College - the two plays examine life in boarding public schools, one from the point of view of a schoolboy and the other through the eyes of a master. Both revolve around unexpected acts of generosity, which place the harsh and at times cruel worlds of these schools into stark contrast.
